About Roland Ferrer

Roland Ferrer began his formal training in the martial arts in 1973 and is an internationally recognized 7th degree Black Belt. He began the formal study of the Filipino Martial Arts at the original Kali Academy of Dan Inosanto & Richard Bustillo in 1977. He was honored to be a resident athlete at the United States Olympic Training Center in 1988 going on to win the U.S. National Taekwondo Championships in the Middle Weight Division.

-Punong Guro Roland Ferrer is a Filipino-American and is the founder of PaaMano Eskrima, established in 1992.

-PG Ferrer began his formal training in the martial arts in 1973

Began the formal study of the Filipino Martial Arts at the original

Master Ferrer is a Certified Instructor of the LAMECO Eskrima System, certified personally by Founder Edgar Sulite...in remembrance, honor and gratitude to the founder Edgar Sulite.

These are some of the other Filipino Martial Arts Masters that Master Ferrer was honored to trained with and have influenced his PaaMano Eskrima System: Ernesto Presas, Dionsio Canete, Bobby Taboada, Leo Giron, Felix Roiles.

Master Ferrer is an eternal student and has trained with some of the top masters in their martial arts fields in: Muay Thai, Krav Maga, Brazilian Jiujitsu, Judo, Karate, Wrestling, Western Boxing, Savate, Capoeira, Kendo, Kobudo, Aikido for over 43 years.  He continues to enjoy learning new styles, meeting new masters and growing as a martial artist.
